Josh Olson’s piece on why he won’t read your fucking script is just awesome. I don’t even know who the guy is and really have so little interest in movies or TV that I don’t own a TV and go to a theater maybe twice a year (although I do rewatch good movies over and over on DVD). Nonetheless I read his entire essay and actually felt enlightened by it. I walked away feeling lucky for having gained a little wisdom without putting in the usual effort in seeking it. The man can write. He caught me with the title and just pulled me in from then on.
