Get a Life, Michelle Malkin
Rachel Ray and Dunkin Donuts are in trouble with the right wingers because she wore a scarf that resembles a traditional head dress worn by Arab men. First off, it’s a scarf that might resemble a head dress but was worn as a scarf, not on Rachel Ray’s head. Second, if it is, so what? It’s the clothing of a different group of people who might have a different religion and culture than the majority of Americans. Since when did all things Arab become offensive to Americans? Are these the same group of people who Bush consider allies, ie. Jordan and Saudi Arabia? Aren’t these the same people who the right wingers claim we went to Iraq to liberate?
Let’s turn this stupidity on its head and try a different exercise. Timothy McVeigh, a convicted and later executed domestic terrorist, once served in the Army and also worn pants. Does that make all Americans wearing pants sympathetic to his cause of destroying the US government and terrorism? Well then pants wearing veterans of America are doubly sympathetic to McVeigh. Or does this kind of silly logic only apply to people who Malkin harbors prejudice for? Being similar to ultra right wing American terrorists is fine but similarity to anyone else is a reason to boycott and punish. Isn’t this the right wing version of excessive political correctness, where any perceived symbolism, however trivial and/or irrational is a source of commotion.
Last but not least, who the fuck is Michelle Malkin other than some loud mouthed bitch who’s married to a Rhodes Scholar? She substitutes shrill for substance. Good God she is ugly (seriously, Jesse Malkin, you’re a Rhodes scholar and the best you can do is her?). Yep this post just took a nose dive into the childish, trolling territory but I felt the need to get into the mind of the subject of at least part of this post.
